The Midlothian Family YMCA offers 55 pieces of cardio equipment (Life Fitness, Precor, Stair Master, Matrix and NuStep). Watch one of our 7 HD Plasma TVs in the cardio area. Listen to the audio by tuning in your radio to the specified frequency for each TV. The strength circuit consist of 16 machines (Life Fitness and Icarian). There is also a free weight area with dumbbells, kettlebells, plate weights, bars, benches, squat rack and Olympic platform. ACTIVTRAX
Beginning July 12th the Midlothian Family YMCA will be offering an exciting new tool to help assist our members reach their goals. ActivTrax is a tool that creates customized workouts around the member's goals, strength and fitness experience. Each time the member visits the wellness center they will receive a new and customized workout that tells them exactly what they need to do to get in shape. Coming in late summer, from home, members can acess their account online and utilize a weight management and meal planning tool. Y T.E.A.M
This class is an all outdoor cross training program for adults (18+) of all levels designed to use nature, team work and bodyweight exercises to achieve a common goal.
Training team members can work towards goal races and represent the T.E.A.M. The training is designed to compliment your training program, add variety and build supportive relationships with others.
Together Everyone Achieves More: Each instructor lead mission will follow a set route, jogging to different destinations around the YMCA and the Grove incorporating team building to perform set intervals and drills such as standard push-ups and sit ups, more intense hill sprints, tire flips, sandbag carries and much more. SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Y Sports Performance provides a rigorous training regimen to maximize playing speed and performance for virtually any sport and any level. Our programs are geared towards improving speed, agility, quickness and power while also reducing the risk of injury.

Trainer: Bryan Grande, MS, CSCS
Bryan is a certified strength and conditioning specialist who brings years of experience in development, exercise physiology, strength training, power development, and agility training to the Midlothian YMCA He trained as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Florida Atlantic, and was later hired by NFL star-receiver Cris Carter. Bryan spent several years working for Carter training South Florida's high school and college athletes. He has also trained some of the nations most competitive professional athletes including: Larry Fitzgerald (NFL), Brandon Marshall (NFL), Mike Doss (NFL), Juan Pierre (MLB), Dontrelle Willis (MLB), and Misty May (AVP Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist).

EQUIPMENT ORIENTATIONS

Complimentary equipment orientations are offered to all members. Equipment Orientations are designed for those who have never exercised before or those who have been physically inactive for more than three months and need help outlining a basic program. The equipment Orientation includes:
- Completion of a Health History Packet to determine readiness for physical activity
- An Overview of the Wellness Center Etiquette and General Exercise Guidelines
- An orientation to select pieces of equipment

WELLNESS ASSESSMENTS
(Included in membership)
Wellness Assessments are designed to assess your current fitness level. You can use this information to track your progress and determine areas you need to focus on. The Wellness Assessment includes an evaluation of the following:
- Height & Weight
- Resting Heart Rate
- Blood Pressure
- Cardiovascular Fitness
- Flexibility
- Body Composition
- Muscular Endurance
- Muscular Strength
- You will also receive a Personal Wellness Profile (PWP), which is a comprehensive analysis of your overall wellness from coronary and cancer risk to nutrition and fitness status.

YOUTH FITNESS
This is required of all youth ages 9-14 years old that are interested in using the wellness center (cardio and strength equipment) and attend aerobic studio classes. Youth age 9-10 must also have a parent with them when in the wellness center.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training involves one-on-one instruction by our certified personal trainers. Both adult and youth personal training is available.

$45 for 1 (1hour) session, $135 for 3 (1hour) sessions, 210 for 5 (1 hour) sessions,

TAEKWONDO (ages 5 to 18)
Classes meet every Monday & Wednesday from 4:00-4:50pm.
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art known for its kicks and flash. We will use Tae Kwon Do as a vehicle to install a new way of life for you and your child. Through Self-Discipline, Self-Confidence, and Self-Esteem we transform your child into a confident leader.
The instructor Master English is a 7th Degree Black Belt, and he will teach kids through a system of setting and achieving goals to improve attention spans and therefore improve grades and their respect for teachers and parents
DANCE PROGRAMS

Twirling Tiny Tots
(2-4 year olds) Fridays from 5:00-5:30pm
A 30 minute movement class that helps develop flexibility, coordination and balance using techniques from ballet, dance, gymnastics and playful educational games. This is a co-ed class for 2-4 year olds. (*Must be potty trained)
Creative Movements
(5-7 year olds) Fridays from 5:30-6:00pm
Children will use creative movement to begin exploring the world of dance during this 30 minute class. Children will be introduced to ballet, jazz and modern dance techniques. This is a co-ed class for 5-7 Year olds.
Youth Dance
(8-12 years old) 4:15-5:00pm
Children will be able to learn different techniques of dance in this 45 minute class, including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and hip-hop. This is a co-ed class for 8-12 year olds.
FIT KIDS!
Mondays 6:00pm-6:45pm
Thursdays 5:30pm-6:15pm in the NEW Gymnasium
Youth group exercise classes - Yoga, kickboxing or cardio games, just for kids 5-10 years old.
